
Candidates/Vehicle Type | Light Vehicles: Drivers who hold a category B driver’s license who drive passenger cars, vans, small buses, pick-up trucks. |
Objective | For the candidates to become familiar with the 4WD systems and to cultivate skills in regarding the proper use and handling of the vehicle both On and Off-road. |
Training Methodology | Candidates participate in the theory session in small groups and then in the practical session which takes place in real On-road and Off-road conditions and with a trainer to candidate ratio of 1:1. Following the completion of the practical session, the trainer completes an assessment of the candidate’s performance. |
Prerequisites | – Valid driver’s license – Driving experience of approximately one year – The practical is executed with the candidate’s vehicle |
Participation | Theory: Groups of maximum twelve (12) candidates |
Duration | – 4 hours theory session – 2 hours practical session |
Training Venue | – Theory: A Hall or other venue furnished with audio visual equipment – Practical: Executed in real On-road and Off-road conditions |
