
Candidates/Vehicle Type | Anti-Rollover for Heavy Vehicles : for drivers holding a category C, D, CE license and drive trucks, tractor-trailers, fuel tankers, cement tankers and buses. |
Program Description | The Anti-Rollover training program employs international standards and best practices regarding Road Safety Education and Driver Trainer Techniques with the objective of teaching drivers the primary causes of vehicle rollovers and how to avoid them. For Heavy Vehicles, this program can be executed in conjunction with the Anti-Skid training program. |
Objective | Candidates will learn how easily a rollover can occur and about the factors that affect vehicle stability on the road. They will be taught safe driving techniques which vary according to the load and condition of the road surface that will better prepare them to avoid rollovers. |
Training Methodology | Candidates participate in the theory session in small groups and then in the practical session of the training program which includes 3 on-track exercises in the Rollover Training Vehicle which simulate the most frequent causes of a vehicle rollover. |
Indicative Training Content | The dynamics of a rollover and factors that increase rollover risk, such as bends, vehicle speed, emergency/panic breaking, abrupt avoidance maneuvers (swerving), abrupt lane changing. Techniques for entering and exiting a roundabout. Detailed program content is included upon request for an offer. |

Prerequisites | – Valid and appropriate driver’s license – Driving experience approximately one year. |

Duration | Per Training Day – 2,5 hours theory training – 2,5 hours practical training |
Training Venue | – Theory: On-site Training Trailer or other venue with audio-visual equipment. – Practical training is executed on the training track with the Rollover Training Vehicle |
Training Interval | Every 24 months |
